From subscribers and prospects: your name, business email, company, territory selection, and billing details processed by Stripe (we never see full card numbers). From email interaction: replies, delivery and bounce status. From public records: the DBPR licensee and applicant extracts described on our home page; these describe licensed contractors and applicants, not our subscribers.
To deliver the weekly report you subscribed to, to bill you, to answer support requests, to honor opt-outs, and — for prospects we contact — to send a small number of clearly identified commercial emails with a working unsubscribe. We do not sell subscriber or prospect information.
Reports contain business names, licensee names, license types, license numbers, cities and counties as published by DBPR under Chapter 119, Florida Statutes, and, where DBPR's licensing records hold one, the email address the licensee or applicant gave DBPR, obtained from DBPR under the same law. We do not add data from people-search or social-media sources and we include a telephone number from DBPR's records only after screening it against Florida's Do Not Call list. If you are named in one of these records and believe it is inaccurate, or have a question about how it appears in LicenseDigest, email support@licensedigest.com. The records come from DBPR, so a correction to the record itself is made with DBPR.
Every commercial email identifies Kummer Ventures LLC, includes a postal address and a working unsubscribe, and opted-out addresses are kept on a suppression list. A one-click unsubscribe is recorded before the confirmation page appears; a reply saying "unsubscribe" is recorded when our system next processes the mailbox. Each sending run checks the suppression list when it starts, so a message already on its way when you opt out can still arrive, and a run that starts shortly afterwards may not yet see the change. Opting out of marketing email does not affect a paid subscription.
Stripe (payments), Google Workspace (email and documents), GitHub (automation and storage), Cloudflare (the unsubscribe endpoint, which stores the addresses that opted out). Desk data (the week's records, the note details you save and the contractors you check off) is stored with Cloudflare, which runs the desk. Each processes data under its own terms and security programs.
Subscriber records are kept while you subscribe and for up to 3 years afterward for tax and dispute purposes. Weekly report files are retained as an audit trail. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by emailing support@licensedigest.com. We use encrypted transport and access-controlled systems but no method is perfectly secure.
